You'll be working alongside your existing Team at Nando's Rotorua which has 10 employees As a Restaurant Manager your role will entail the below to achieve this you'll have support from your Area Manager.

We're looking for:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a management role is required in casual dining or similar setting is essential, with a bucket-load of passion to inspire, motivate, and engage your team.
- Manage employee performance in line with company procedures; including reward, counselling and performance appraisals;
- Ensure compliance with and integrity of all employment conditions including EBA, leave management, payroll documents, terminations and contracts of employment;
- Oversee the receiving and storage of all stock in line with company policies and procedures, ensuring mínimal wastage and inter restaurant transfers;
- Ensure training and appropriate sign off’s completed in a timely manner;
- Ensure grooming standards of all employees is maintained;
- Determine work requirements and priorities according to restaurant trading patterns, delegating tasks accordingly;
- Ensure effective and appropriate restaurant communication processes are in place;
- Conduct restaurant safety and orientation shifts for all new Assistant Managers and Shift Supervisors;
- Report all incidents, injuries, and near misses within 24 hours of incident/injury or near miss occurring;
- Ensure Safe Work Procedures are implemented and carried out;
- Ensure all employees are inducted and trained in accordance with the Company Safety Policy to ensure a safe and secure environment for all staff, customers, visitors and contractors;
- Ensure trading profit budgets are met by analysing period trading reports and identify and implement opportunities for improvement in restaurant profitability within the scope of company policies and procedures;
- Manage labour costs by maximising restaurant productivity and providing rem projects in accordance with guidelines;
- Monitor the performance of Assistant Management and Shift Supervisors;
- Train, coach and supervise Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors and Crew members, determine work requirements and priorities, assign tasks to maximize restaurant performance;
