Transmission Line Mechanic

The Transmission Line Mechanics will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of transmission lines to meet customer requirements in an efficient and timely manner. Safety is a top priority in this role, and you will report to the Supervisor.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with work plans, installing and replacing electricity network pole/tower structures, overhead conductors, and participating in various project work related to tower building, conductor transfer, stringing, helicopter work, etc.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and qualities:
- Experience in working on multiple projects
- Ability to assist with work plans and complete necessary field paperwork
- Knowledge and experience in installing and replacing electricity network pole structures and overhead conductors
- Experience in pulling up new line builds for subdivisions
- Current NZ EWRB practicing license and E1, E2, TL1, TL2, TLM, and electricity supply Level 4 NZ
- At least two years of work experience
- A valid Class 2 driver’s license or Class 4 driver’s license (preferred but not essential)
- Positive work attitude, team collaboration, and a strong focus on health and safety
- Ability to communicate and work with mínimal supervision
