**Te Pūriri o Te Ora - Auckland's Regional Cancer and Blood Service** at Auckland City Hospital is the leading provider of cancer care in the Auckland region, serving a diverse population of around 1.7 million people. As part of our team, you will play an integral role in advancing clinical research, working alongside a dynamic and passionate group of clinical research professionals. Together, we are committed to ensuring novel therapies and clinical trials are available to patients in Auckland and across Aotearoa.

Cancer and Blood Research offers people living with cancer and their whānau opportunities to participate in high-quality clinical, translational, and observational research, all aimed at improving clinical outcomes.
- **Lead Clinical Research Coordinator - Decentralised Clinical Trials Project Lead - Cancer and Blood Research or Lead Clinical Research Coordinator - Cancer and Blood Research**
- Lead and manage decentralised clinical trials within the Cancer and Blood Research program.
- **Lead Clinical Research Coordinator - Cancer and Blood Research**
- Oversee clinical trial activities and ensure high-quality standards within the Cancer and Blood Research division.

**In this role, you will be expected to**:

- Take responsibility for the coordination of clinical research trials in collaboration with investigators and other team members within the Directorate.
- Ensure trials are conducted ethically and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) standards.
- Contribute to the feasibility, setup, and recruitment of clinical research trials, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Provide leadership and mentorship, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Research Team with a focus on staff support.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team to facilitate the conduct of clinical research.
- Have opportunities to develop skills related to project management and quality improvement.

**Both positions are permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), based at Te Toka Tumai Auckland City Hospital.**
