**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a Communications Director who can oversee our community and marketing teams. This is a role for someone who is comfortable in digital spaces and up-to-date with the latest in social media and mobile marketing tools, who respects the digital privacy landscape and is excited by the opportunity to communicate to a truly global audience of players in more than 200 territories. Leveraging your skills and experience, you will coach, support, and train our Community and Marketing teams to bring our games to market and retain our players with welcoming spaces and engaging content.

**The Communications Director’s responsibilities include**:

- Providing leadership and guidance to our team of community managers and product marketers and collaborating and advocating for team needs with graphics, video/audio, advertising, and product teams to develop and deliver ongoing promotional activities and foster active game communities.
- Supporting the broader needs of the Publishing division and studio by delivering to product strategic needs, budget planning, seeking stakeholder feedback, maintaining relationships with external parties, and reporting on learnings and successes
- Briefing, testing, and iterating on digital assets (static and video), in collaboration with our visual development and cinematics teams, always seeking to improve product KPIs and support other publishing team functions

**Requirements**:

- Experience in community-based marketing, strategic marketing, or customer relationship management in mobile, video game, or other digital industries
- Ability to coordinate a group of personnel within the parameters of a given exercise, and a willingness to mentor, support and inspire others
- Proactive problem solving, developing strategies based on the needs and KPIs of different products
- Experience managing communities of more than 100,000 followers/members, with a strong player advocacy mindset, risk assessment, and conflict de-escalation skills
- Familiarity with the latest mobile or video game marketing best practices as well as the most recent social media platforms and the varying audiences and content requirements for each
- Familiarity with the digital privacy and legislative landscape and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential issues
- Experience with proposing new initiatives and hypotheses, delivering on a plan, and reporting on winnings and learnings
- Curiosity to understand the holistic needs of the studio and how the team can best deliver on those needs
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently across multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong copy and content writing capabilities
- Familiarity with strong graphic design and video editing, and able to communicate on objectives and needs for those assets
- Able to escalate personnel issues as appropriate and to handle sensitive/confidential issues
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, strong sense of initiative, and drive to achieving quality output and outcomes
