What your role and typical day might look like

A Digital Account Manager takes on the majority of the online planning responsibilities in the team, working to pull together media plans that complement the media strategy, non-digital planning and ultimately the client brief. As the title suggests they are also responsible for managing their team and are a key player in managing Media relationships with the client.

Responsibilities could include- Oversee the buying and implementation of all online activities and to develop and maintain online media schedules across client portfolio- Ensure quality control across all documents being sent to the client including but not limited to tracking/optimizing reports, post analysis, competitive, media evaluations and schedules- Contribute to the planning documents being built in line with strategies developed by strategy team- Brief media partners and evaluate their proposals in line with the ICP process and assisting the Digital Director on annual publisher negotiations- Sell recommendations to clients driving home the creativity, innovation and effectiveness of an idea- Train, support and mentor the digital executive within the team, to ensure they (and yourself) are continually learning and developing their skillset.

A bit about you- At least 4 years’ experience within a media or advertising agency in a digitally led planning, buying, strategy and account management/client service capacity.- A good understanding of the digital media marketplace, and proactive in staying up to date with new innovations and technologies.- Experience with digital planning and buying tools such as Facebook Ad Manager, Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager or Display & Video etc, Tik Tok Ad Manager etc.- A collaborative attitude and proactive communicator, able to present ideas to teams and clients using Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Google Analytics and other productivity and Analytics tools.- Effective time management and planning skills- Confidence in the area of media negotiation- Ability to manage and mentor a small team of people
