**The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi**

The role of Student Experience Representative (Inbound) within the Student Experience Centre at The University of Auckland is a pivotal position that will give you a unique opportunity to be of service to our most important customers: our current and future students.

This position is Fixed Term for 5 months. Our standard business hours are between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, however there is likely to be some Saturdays and Public Holidays included in your roster, as well as the chance of late shifts at certain times of the year. We work 7.5 hours a day (37.5 hours per week) and start times will vary to accommodate operational demands.

This role is typically based on 49 Symonds Street, Auckland CBD but we may need a level of flexibility during these uncertain times to be able to work on site and from home if and when required. Please note that during the period that you may need to work off site, you will need to have access to your own personal computer/lap top etc. to be able to support this role off site.

The salary band for this role is between $42,500 - $51,600 per annum.

You take pride in your work and combine this with a healthy sense of humour and self-awareness. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will engage you in this varied role.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills/Experience**
- 1 - 2 years’ experience delivering high quality customer service, and experience dealing with complex problems
- Experience of working with and understanding the needs of a diverse range of clients.
- Experience working in a Call Centre operation
- Ability to navigate multiple online systems
- Relevant experience in the tertiary sector will be considered an asset, however not essential.
