The System Performance and Monitoring Directorate provides advice across Manatū Hauora to ensure the perspectives of clinical leadership and clinical quality and safety are reflected in decision making, working with other directorates on opportunities to improve the quality and safety of the system and its responsiveness.
We are looking for 2 dynamic Advisors to join the team supporting the Deputy Director-General (DDG) of the Directorate. In this role you will work in the Wellington office and be responsible for a range of tasks, including quality assurance of material prepared for the DDG, ensuring strategic alignment and accuracy, supporting contract management, and maintaining and enhancing efficiency of business processes.
This role is for someone who enjoys variety, likes to learn, and can operate at a strategic level while maintaining a strong eye for detail.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
- Keen eye for detail and passion for delivering a quality product
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines
- An understanding of the machinery of Government would be advantageous
