- **Do you have**:
- 6-10 years’ technical experience, including proven experience in Landscape Assessment/Design and associated graphic documents
Proven experience with renewable energy projects ie solar/wind farms
Evidence and Hearings experience (helpful but not essential)
Strong written and graphic communications skills
Excellent problem solving/strategic thinking
Confident and clear presentation skills
Good understanding of the NZ planning framework
Ability to work with little supervision and to deadlines
Ability to work remotely (ie in a regional office and/or remote working)
Ability to travel nationwide for site visits
NZILA Registered or working towards Registration
Experience with graphic software programmes Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and Indesign; Vector-works
-We're looking for a Full Time (Permanent) Landscape Architect/Planner to join our growing specialist team. This role will focus on landscape assessment and related project design and will see you using your design thinking skills to develop appropriate landscape solutions.

his role requires you to develop appropriate landscape solutions that are responsive to both the planning framework and environmental context. You will be required to use your critical thinking, strategic problem solving and project management skills to;
- Research, analyse and develop design solutions and assessment rationales
Prepare evidence for presentation at council hearings
Prepare hand-sketch concepts in plan, elevations and axonometric (if needed) for information/discussion purposes
Prepare digital renders in Photoshop and/or Vector-works
Prepare landscape design plans from concept through to developed/detailed design phases
Be familiar with NZ native plant species and suitability for project use
Prepare tender and construction sets of drawings including layout and dimensioned details
-Your primary role will focus on taking a lead in the acquisition and delivery of landscape planning projects for local and regional authorities along with clients in the private sector. To do this you will be involved in new business development, developing winning proposals, coordinating resources, overseeing project delivery, and producing high quality technical work. You will also be required to assist with other landscape architecture projects (in particular, Landscape and Visual Effects Assessments (LVEA) and Peer Reviews of LVEAs) across the business as needs dictate.-Finally, a key element of this role will also be fostering a culture of collaboration and integration across the different areas of the business.

Salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 depending on individual skills and experience.
