Auckland City, New Zealand Datacom Full time

Our Why
Datacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people’s lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow.

Our Team
Our culture is built on people who love coming to work to solve problems, and we embrace those who lean into a problem rather than lean away. Using your expertise, you’ll join a dedicated team, proud of delivering top-class advice and guidance to our customers.

About the role (your why)
The Connectivity and Security Customer Lead is responsible for the management of relationships across a portfolio of Datacom network and security customers. Your primary focus will be ensuring that our customers’ expectations are met and exceeded across the wide variety of services with the goal of driving customer satisfaction, contract renewals and uplifts.
As an advocate for the customer, you will work closely with the sales, product and service delivery teams, providing market insights to Datacom leadership teams, and inputting into product and service design.
This is a unique role in a fast-growing area of Datacom’s business. If you enjoy adding value with your customer by finding the opportunity in their challenges, then this role is for you.

What you’ll do
You will build long term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and be responsible for the monitoring and management of the health of these relationships with our customers and the solutions and services Datacom Connectivity and Security delivers to them.
You will act as the main interface between the customer and Datacom Connectivity and Security delivery teams to ensure an optimal level of service is always provided.
You will facilitate the engagement of stakeholders and delivery of solutions and services and change projects, acting as a single point of contact for customer and Datacom senior stakeholders, facilitating relationships between them.
You will ensure there is ongoing dialogue with customers about their connectivity and security strategic roadmap and you will support customers on their journey to improving their security risk posture through the provision of Datacom network and security solutions and services.

**What you’ll bring**:
You will have a wealth of knowledge that spans across IT with a particular interest in the network or security fields within NZ.
With a passion for evolving and developing solutions to meet customer and the greater market needs, you will be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
Along with a sales experience, outstanding negotiation and persuasive ability, excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at various levels across an organisation, you will be able to quickly gain an understanding of your customer’s environment to build on existing product and service offerings that provide value and support to deliver on their strategic outcomes.
You’ll have experience in providing insight and an unrivalled ability to understand customer needs. You can understand each customer’s unique need that provides a personalised experience as well as larger customer trends to improve the overall experience when delivering Datacom products and services.

Why join us here at Datacom?
Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services. We have managed to maintain a dynamic, agile, small business feel that is often diluted in larger organisations of our size. It's our people that give Datacom its unique culture and energy that you can feel from the moment you meet with us.
We care about our people and provide a range of perks such as social events, chill-out spaces, remote working, flexi-hours and professional development courses to name a few. You’ll have the opportunity to learn, develop your career, connect and bring your true self to work. You will be recognised and valued for your contributions and be able to do your work in a collegial, flat-structured environment.
We operate at the forefront of technology to help Australia and New Zealand’s largest enterprise organisations explore possibilities and solve their greatest challenges, so you will never run out of interesting new challenges and opportunities.
