**About the Role**:

- Provide outstanding customer service and excellent public relations to all customers and retailers.
- Observing, deterring, and detecting crime.
- Using specialist technology to assist with reporting.
- Patrolling the mall to monitor entrances & exits, and high-risk areas.
- Maintain situational awareness at all times.
- Respond to emergencies (e.g Fire evacuations, medical etc.)
- Display a high level of professionalism at all times.

**About you**:

- You’ll have proven experience in a customer facing role such as hospitality or retail; and ideally bring specific security experience (or experience in a related field).
- Valid Green COA Security License is desirable; however Red Badge can support you in obtaining one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals in a positive and professional manner
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick decisions when needed
- Able to take directives from Site Supervisors, Managers & clients; and work well in team environments
- Possess a strong, professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility.
- Must be reliable, confident & honest at all times
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours, including at least 1 weekend day.
