**The role**
As a Works Planner with Northpower, you’ll be responsible for the outage scheduling of both the preventative and corrective maintenance and defects identified by the field staff. This role will see you undertake various tasks including the generation of high voltage and low voltage switching methodologies and schedules, liaising with our client on a regular basis through to coordination of large-scale outage work. This is role that will be a vast amount of variety to your day-to-day work schedule. You’ll be reporting to the Delivery Manager - Maintenance and Planning.
- You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Outage or work planning experience
- Willing to work on a Fixed Term contract
- Familiar with Transpowers ION’s and Maximo programmes

**Who we’re looking for?**
- To be successful in this role, you will also have some of the following skills:
- Ideally, proven experience working on NZ Transmission Networks
- EWRB registration - an advantage
- Relevant Trade or tertiary qualification
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong stakeholder interaction and management
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Full Clean Drivers licence
- Great computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Project
