Auckland has officially welcomed New Zealand’s first Hotel Indigo to the neighbourhood. The “City of Sails” sets the backdrop for this boutique upper-upscale hotel, drawing inspiration from local artists for its design, service, amenities, food and beverage. The 225-room hotel is part of a mixed-use development in Auckland Central, with stunning views of the city and Auckland’s iconic harbour. It's among Auckland’s tallest buildings, maintaining the façade of the original historic building with a new world-class hotel to accompany and honour its heritage listing.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**
- Support the set up and maintenance of suppliers and debtors in our purchasing and finance systems
- Coordinate with department leaders to confirm procurement needs and specifications
- Assist with receiving and logging incoming stock and deliveries, as well as monitoring and managing inventory levels
- Assist and support with financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Work with our Finance and Business Support Manager to support IHG and owner group audits and preparing reporting requirements
- Support internal control checks in compliance with our company policies

**What we need from you**
- You may be someone already familiar with the world of hotels, and wanting to grow into a financial role
- Education and understanding in Accounting or Finance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with financial software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, you’ll pride yourself in your interpersonal abilities
- Must speak fluent English
- Full working rights within New Zealand with no restrictions
