This is a permanent opportunity with our Rolling Mills Technical team offering a competitive salary and flexible work practices.

**What you will be doing**

Reporting to the Rolling Mills Technical Superintendent, you will champion quality, product/process control and continuous improvement outcomes to help us deliver the Mills and Coatings business plan. This role works across multiple processing plants offering exposure to a variety of equipment, processes and challenges to test and extend your knowledge and build a strong foundation of expertise to enhance your career.

**What you will bring to the role**

Along with a relevant engineering degree and experience working in a similar role or manufacturing environment, you will also have:

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Strong critical thinking skills with a proven ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Be a self-starter with proven initiative, attention to detail and a drive to achieve results
- Able to build strong relationships and relate to a cross section of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem solving (including problem solving facilitation skills)
- Be a committed team player
- Uncompromising attitude towards Health and Safety to drive a zero-harm culture within the plant.

Previous experience with operations, process or maintenance in a plant environment will be looked upon favourably.
