**The key purpose for this role is to**:
Implement smarter operational procedures, technology & innovational processes to keep leading the way in sustainable recycled materials, ultimately improve OEE, reduce waste, and increase effectiveness and profitability through Lean Manufacturing Principles and Practices.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- **Manage the significant forecasted growth** for the company ensuring that we maintain effectiveness & efficiency through the changes we implement.
- **Over see the accuracy of all production planning,** maintaining, and reporting, using the Aspect PL production system - a critical tool
- **Oversee Effective negotiations** for the supply of raw material, ensuring competitiveness & adequate supply of essential products is maintained including management of a Kanban ordering system & forecasting tools.
- **Oversee the effective Coordination with logistics **dept to insure DIFOT of product inwards and outwards
- **Reporting on production volumes,** setting priorities, planning and communicating timeframes for production.
- **Assessment of product line profitability,** Cost analysis per product, future financial projections for added products, and increase production output.
- **Oversee the effectiveness of improvement quality assurance** procedures and analysis or advisory as required.
- **Manage all engineering projects **and oversee machine maintenance to manufacturing standards.
- **Implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing methods and systems** in the factory and ensuring that changes stick & habits are formed.

**If you have**:

- **At least 8 years experience in manufacturing as Production or Manufacturing Manager in the food and beverage or FMCG industry.**:

- **At least 5 years previous experience in plastics manufacturing, PET, HDPE, PP or similar.**:

- **Lean Manufacturing experience and success in implementing 5S, 6 sigma.**:

- **Proven record of achievements in ability to operate successfully while managing in a growing environment.**:

- **Exceptional abilities to hire, motivate and manage staff to peak performance, increasing retention rates.**:

- **Ability to win the hearts and minds of our staff, in a transparent environment where every opinion is heard, respected, considered, and valued.**
