**The Opportunity**

This is a new role and rare opportunity for a dynamic, passionate and strategically minded person to get stuck into democratising learning at Gallagher, to create a truly learning organisations. Its a unique opportunity to create and deliver Gallaghers group wide learning and capability growth strategies, spanning 10 regions globally.

Working with the wider group People & Brand team you will partner with people across the organisation to understand where and how we can better surface and meet the rapid growth and development needs of our people and the organisation.

Working with a cross functional team to create define what an ecosystem of learning could look like at Gallagher, what the needs across our organisation are and how we could meet them in a way that’s cohesive and simple for our teams to digest, turning learning into action.

This position extends beyond putting in a learning platform, resources, and courses - it’s about creating and executing a strategy that builds a learning organisation, where learning is engrained in our cultural fabric, and links deeply to our purpose to “Protect what matters most”.

In this unique role within our Group OD team where you will be a key contributor to the growth, development and implementation of OD strategies across our global organisation.

**To be successful in this role you need**
- Experience in designing and leading organisational wide L&D strategies, programmes, and initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in delivering key strategic pieces of work, with an understanding of iterative delivery and agile approaches
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships across a broad range of individuals at all levels in the organisation
- Commercially focused thinking, and a drive to get things done with the capability and credibility to work with all layers of an organisation.
- An ability to flex between strategic thinking and visioning to tactical delivery of key outcomes.
- A high level of competency in facilitation and leading groups to deliver clear and measurable outcomes
- Experience in leading cross functional teams in collaborative and inclusive way
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to tell stories which help to persuade and influence others to obtain optimal outcomes
- A highly motivated, achievement-oriented, and innovative approach
- A curiosity that helps you to ask questions to challenge thinking and what could be possible
