**About the role**

You will also;
- Ensure the Building Services team is operating efficiently and effectively with appropriate levels of skill via development, upskilling and support
- Develop and maintain contractor and key stakeholder relationships
- Ensure the business is supported 24/7 by the Building Services team.

This is a Full Time opportunity, working 40 hours per week.

**About you**

It'll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service skills, and high level of professionalism & initiative which will make you a great fit for SkyCity.

To be successful in this role, you will also;
- Have extensive experience in building code and general building and plant maintenance
- Have Technical capability / be trade qualified in a specialist field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Drainage or carpentry
- Have Strong and logical problem-solving capability
- Be able to focus on continuous improvement, cost efficiencies and ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail
- Be able to manage a team, delegate tasks effectively and maintain oversight of job requests
- Be physically able to undertake the manual handling requirements of the position
- Hold Site Safe accreditation
