**The role**

Working in collaboration with the Pou Whakarae and harnessing internal skills within Te Rōpū o Ringa Raupā as well as our data teams, you will provide kaitiakitanga for Te Rautaki Māori - Ngā Pae o te Harakeke, 2020 - 2025. You will support us to scope the need of our community, existing services within iwi providers and deliver appropriate advice which will craft how we can best serve and build successful partnerships and engagement with tāngata whenua.

As a tangata tiriti organisation, with aspirations to provide equitable care, your ability to work organisation-wide to build internal structures such as mihi whakatau will serve to elevate tikanga in a business setting while growing an understanding of the Whakapapa of Whānau Āwhina and the principles of Te Tiriti.

**About you**

You will build strong relationships across the organisation and be confident standing as a leader and your manner will implore others to seek out your advice and support. Additionally, the ability to act as Plunket kaikōrero, while not a requirement, would be advantageous. As a key pou in our organisation, you will be proficient in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga and able to articulate not only the what but the how and why to support growth and understanding in kaimahi - both tauiwi and Māori.

With an innovative eye along with the ability to stay focused on our core business, you will listen to others, seek to understand so that you have a clear understanding of how to take action to best deliver for the whānau we serve.
