**This position reports to**:
Chapter Lead Hardware

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is leading the development and upkeep of automated test equipment to support production in Napier. Main stakeholders are Production, Supply Chain and Agile Teams and Quality. You will be mainly accountable for: -Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work. -Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them. You will join a talented and motivated team, where you will be able to thrive. This position reports to Chapter Lead Hardware

**Qualifications for the role**:

- You are highly skilled in and enjoy working with the National Instruments eco system and the Automation of production test - specifically for electronics.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience. Preferably 5+ years with automation of production test.
- You have an existing and established skill base with the National Instruments ecosystem of LabVIEW, TestStand and associated measurement hardware e.g PXI racks.
- You hold a deep and geniuine interest in data acquisition and capture, information measurement and measurement quality, and are able to communicate relevant matters with others of a broad range of technical backgrounds.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- You are at ease communicating in English
