**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We have an important role in supporting the Crown in its relationships with Māori under te Tiriti o Waitangi | the Treaty of Waitangi. The government is committed to improving services and outcomes for Māori and strengthening the Crown's relationships with Māori.

We are responsible for designing community-based systems of care, agreeing health and wellbeing plans, executing those plans, and monitoring outcomes which then feed into the design process. We work in partnership with our Te Whatu Ora colleagues to shape system-wide public health services across the motu.

As the Contracts Liaison Coordinator, you will contribute to the end-to-end coordination of high-quality contractual arrangements across your region. Your role will be:

- Support the team to complete the contracts creation process, including technical advice, completion of ARFs and liaising with Sector Operations.
- Receipt & data processing of performance reporting.
- Monitor contracts to identify those that do not conform to standard contractual terms and conditions including KPIs, KPI monitoring and reporting and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to the processing of Fee Notifications and similar processes that are part of a contractual process.

**This role is based in the Te Manawa Taki Region made up of Waikato, Lakes, Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti and Taranaki. You will need to be based in one of these locations.**

- Needs to draw on relevant experience specific to the job and work demands.
- Previous experience working in an administrative environment where legislative considerations determine processes.
- Understanding and experience working with databases/registers.
- Understanding and experience working with contracts.
- Ideally experience of the health sector contracts and service requirements.
