**The Role**

As a member of the Fletcher Residential and Development division’s Accounts Payable team, you will assist in the delivery of an efficient accounts payable service that drives a culture of customer service excellence and accuracy. The objective is to achieve full resolution in a timely manner so that invoices can be prepared for payment.

This is a part-time role (30 hours per week) primarily based out of our head office in Penrose, but with the flexibility to work remotely as required.

Your responsibilities will be to:

- Work with Head Office and Branch teams to reduce accounts payable queries (APQ) in the selected suppliers
- Report any errors loaded via Converga (our scan and capture software) to ensure these issues are tracked and resolved
- Assist with payment runs as and when required ensuring engagement with other Finance team members to ensure correct payments are being processed in the appropriate pay run
- Assist and resolve accounts payable queries, including offsets to reduced unnecessary work for relevant teams.
- Work with the wider teams to ensure mínimal extra payment runs
- Contribute to the development of the culture of the business by being engaged in discussions and attending team events where possible, whether at branches, head office or off site

**About You**

To be considered for this role, you will require previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar position. But that’s not all With a friendly and diverse team of finance professionals to support you, we are seeking someone who enjoys collaborating, sharing ideas, and having fun along the way. You will also need proven data analysis skills, a demonstrated understanding of business process and process improvements, excellent communication, organisational and emotional intelligence skills, and ideally a good sense of humour.

As this is a part-time role you will need to be able to manage your time effectively, and in return you can enjoy flexibility around your working hours, working from home when required, and visiting the wider team at our other branches.
