As the Service Leader (0.4), you will be responsible for providing leadership, mentoring, support, and general HR/line management for the Primary Mental Health Practitioner teams, contracting and maintaining excellent relationships with external providers, as well as management and oversight of the ADHD contract.

As the Clinical Mental Health Practitioner (0.4), you will provide accurate and professional support in the form of assessment of clients/whanau in relation to the provision and/or coordination of access to psychological interventions.

**Essential skills, knowledge, and experience**:
A qualified health professional with a current practicing certificate

Five or more years recent experience as a registered MH and/or AOD professional/ counsellor

Staff management experience preferably in Mental Health environment

Well-developed time management skills and an ability to prioritize workload

Demonstrated leadership, coordination, and facilitation skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team as well as without direct supervision

Excellent interpersonal skills and experienced at developing therapeutic relationships

Can demonstrate the ability to practice from a bi-cultural and multi-cultural perspective

Demonstrate a commitment to and working knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles

Computer literate

Our client is a registered charitable trust, which provides primary health care and community health services to an enrolled population of around 315,000, mainly through a network of general practice and employed staff. We have offices in Masterton, Porirua and Wellington. Our clients organisation works in collaboration with Te Whatu Ora, iwi and other organisations, and are the sole PHO in the Wairarapa.
