Our client, a leading healthcare organisation focused on providing primary healthcare and community health services, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Coordinator to join their mental health team across Masterton, Porirua and Wellington.

**About the position**

As the Operations Coordinator for Mental Health (Kairahi Hauora Hinengaro), your role is to support the delivery of high-level mental health services by organizing a variety of activities. These include coordinating workforce development and training, managing mental health risk and issues registers, and supporting the mental health leadership team with annual planning and clinical governance activities.

You will also be responsible for managing clinical spaces, including lease discussions and hotel functions, organising team meetings and ensuring that standing agendas are kept up to date. Additionally, you will collate and present information on supply, demand, equity, and patient experience, and co-ordinate the efficient and effective functioning of mental health programmes and specified projects. You will provide project management support, best practice administration, and manage mental health filing systems while keeping standard operating procedures up to date.

Communication is a key aspect of this role, including supporting communications to internal and external stakeholders and partners, including web-based communications and social media. You will also contribute to programme monitoring and coordinate programme reporting, responding to and coordinating responses to programme queries, ensuring the effective administration of programme governance and advisory groups, and supporting programme meetings and other related events on both local and national scales (e.g., bookings, catering, agendas, minutes, recording actions and decision, etc.).

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification

Experience in project management and administration

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience in the healthcare industry or mental health services would be an advantage.
