Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

We are looking for someone who is experienced in providing top-notch stakeholders' management, and able to lead sound and pragmatic strategic financial advisories, including to the senior leadership team. Someone who has strong attention to detail, but at the same time is capable of taking a step back and look at things from a high level. Our role is to provide timely and fit for purpose advice and support to understand and determine the way forward to support performance business decisions in the strategic finance space. This will be focused on the organisation's long and short term scenarios and solutions based on financial planning, investment option assessment and funding option analysis.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualified or Bachelor of Business in Finance, Economics or a similar qualification together with experience working as a senior financial strategy professional
- In-depth commercial acumen and business understanding
- In-depth knowledge of sources of financing, options analysis and presenting findings
- Good knowledge of Machinery of Government budget and funding processes
- Demonstrated ability to identify, collect, organise and analyse complex data to provide information and enable decision-making
- The ability to clearly and concisely convey information and ideas in both oral and written communication
- Experience in prioritising demands and working with others to meet deadlines and deliver desired result
- Interest in public sector structure, governance, processes, frameworks and systems
