The appointee will lead a growing team focused on the University’s strategic objectives for digital prioritisation.

The UC Online Learning unit has been designed to strategically expand University of Canterbury (UC) online products in line with market demand and industry and community needs, whilst delivering a customised and exemplary online student experience.

The Digital Marketing and Sales Manager will be an accomplished leader and proven team player with significant digital marketing, B2B and B2C sales experience. The appointee will have a relevant track record to be able to provide leading edge expertise in gathering market intelligence and translating this into actionable insight. Strong business acumen and strategic ability will ensure the digital deployment of marketing efforts that maximise return on investment and ensure a growing learner cohort for the University, and increased engagement from learners and prospects. The role works across multiple teams and will have a focus on relationship-building internally and externally, meaning a solution-oriented partnership mentality will be a further key attribute.
