Due to an internal movement, we are now on the lookout for Team Lead to continue to grow and support the team and business.

Reporting to the Head of Volume Recruitment, the Recruitment Team Lead - NZ will shape and evolve the future recruitment function for a diverse and growing Social Infrastructure business within Downer. Providing leadership across the Social Infrastructure Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and consistent recruitment practices meeting the overall resourcing needs of the SI business along with managing a recruitment portfolio of your own.

As an experienced Recruitment professional, you will have a track record with internal recruitment, recruiting when there are talent shortages, employment brand and attraction of talent. You will have strong relationship skills, be collaborative and team focused, strong ability to plan ahead, clearly communicate initiatives to the team and key stakeholders in the business, and have an ability to influence and engage at all levels.

You will also bring:

- Previous experience leading a team or someone ready for the next step in their career
- Demonstrated experience in creating, implementing, executing and tracking talent attraction, pipe-lines and proactive sourcing activities
- Strong experience providing recruitment advice to senior management
- Confident, self-aware and has strong relationship building skills
- Ability to influence
- Proficiency in the use of a recruitment management system and search tools and/or systems
- Strategic thinker
- Ability to think outside the recruitment box
