As an Administrator Client Services in the Otago Medical School, you will provide proactive administrative support to one or more areas ensuring the smooth operation of their work.
Key tasks of this role are:
- Supporting undergraduate and post-graduate students and teaching staff.
- Providing administration and meeting support for Otago Medical School sub-committees, Boards and annual meetings.
- Organising events and ceremonies.
- Oversight for student verifications, student enrolment issues via e-vision, scholarships for medical students and paperwork for calendar amendments.

- Previous experience in a busy and/or complex administration environment.
- A passion for customer service and delivering exceptional service to customers.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and an attention to detail.
- The ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- The ability to be calm, adaptable, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- An ongoing commitment to positive outcomes for our students, staff, and visitors.

The Client Services team is part of the Division of Shared Services, a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all the University’s internal and external customers.

This is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours) position.
We also have Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions available. These roles are part of the Administrator Client Services function but in addition they support the implementation of the Māori Strategic Framework activities, the University’s commitment to the success of Māori students and staff and contribute to a culture of whakawhanaungatanga in our workplaces. These positions are remunerated at Level 5, with the appointment range $61,531 to $65,898.
