The Nurse Educator Paediatric services is a key member of both the Paediatric and Workforce Development teams. Although based at Nelson Hospital, this role will also provide support for other areas in the organisation.
A large component of this role will be ensuring that clinical quality systems are in place within and across our nursing services to enhance care delivery.
**Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)**
You will be an experienced, resilient and adaptable senior registered nurse with a current practicing certificate and extensive paediatric care nursing experience. You will have excellent communication and engagement skills, and you will have demonstrated your ability to teach adults in both formal and informal setting. You will have a current Expert portfolio (or working towards) and a Certificate in Adult Teaching Level 4, as well as Masters of Nursing level post graduate education, or working towards (essential).
- Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their primary course of NZ approved COVID-19 vaccines as they have direct contact with patients and members of the public_._

The full-time equivalent salary range for this designated senior nurse position is $110,282 to $121,161 based on the current NZNO Nursing and Midwifery MECA dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.
