**Emergency Department - Nelson Hospital**

**12 month, fixed-term, 0.7 to 0.8FTE position **(56 to 64 hours a fortnight)**

Take advantage of this opportunity to support the clinical education/training needs of nursing staff within the Emergency Department at Nelson Hospital. This role utilises the principles of evidence-based practice to meet the learning needs of new and developing nursing team members.

Shifts will be rostered and rotating Monday to Sunday to align with clinical coaching needs.

**Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)**

We are looking for a NZ Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate and the skills required to provide education and coaching appropriate to emergency nursing. You will have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of ED or other acute nursing experience, and the ability to demonstrate clinical leadership. You will be a highly motivated person who has the skills and ability to work with your peers.

A post graduated certificate is desired. However, if this has not been achieved, then the expectation is that you would enroll in a post graduate clinical assessment and reasoning paper once you commence the clinical coach role.
