Your role would see you planning, delivering, and evaluating workforce development activities specific (but not limited to) the mental health service setting.As a Nurse Educator, you will coach and educate staff to their best potential resulting in improved experiences for our health consumers. You will primarily work alongside the MH&A and ED teams in a clinical coach/mentoring capacity, leading and embedding evidence-based practice, developing education strategies, involving staff in identifying areas for development, and developing objectives and plans in order to help staff apply learnings to practice.A large component of this role will be ensuring that clinical quality systems are in place within and across our nursing services to enhance care delivery.About the Team/LocationIf you are looking for a new role, working alongside an enthusiastic and supportive team that is focused on constantly improving the level of care provided to the community, this is the role for you.We have a great team and we work hard to make a difference. You will be an experienced, resilient, and adaptable senior registered nurse with a current practicing certificate and extensive MH&A nursing experience.You will have excellent communication and engagement skills, and you will have demonstrated your ability to teach adults in both formal and informal settings.You will have a current Expert portfolio (or working towards) and a Certificate in Adult Teaching Level 4, as well as a Masters of Nursing level postgraduate education, or working towards (essential).Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is the weaving of wellnesses.
