We have a full time position available in our Taunaki (Child & Adolescent Mental health Services) team based at 492 Great South Road, Otahuhu, working Monday - Friday. We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator who is self-motivated and confident in their ability to communicate effectively with a range of other specialist colleagues, including general practitioners and practice nurses.

The focus of this position is to promote effective service user care, ensure appropriate resources are available to support clinicians to work at the top of their scope of practice.

You will be required to work alongside the Team Manager to provide leadership, co-ordination and day to day oversight of clinical service delivery with the team. This will include acting as a clinical resource to the team including coaching, mentoring and facilitating evidence based best practice and ensuring new staffs receive a robust orientation. You will also participate in performance reviews and contribute to professional development processes for the teams’ multidisciplinary staff. You will take an active role in auditing and quality initiatives.

**Essential**:

- NZ Registered Mental Health Clinician (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Social Worker)
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in Mental Health with some of this being within a community mental health team
- Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
- In-depth understanding & demonstration of the Treaty of Waitangi principles

**Preferred**:

- Postgraduate qualification or working towards one
- Experience in leadership roles within a multi-disciplinary team
