We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our team at the Kari Centre.
We invite you to join the Kari Centre, an exciting and dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health outpatient service that provides assessment and therapy to children, young people, and their families within the central Auckland area. The Kari Centre has a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and training, and is dedicated to offering opportunities for career development.
The multi-disciplinary team is made up of mental health professionals from the disciplines of psychiatry, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, nursing and cultural advisors. We have team members with specialist knowledge including infant mental health, neuro development, family therapy and DBT.
Responsibilities include oversight and management of clinical systems and processes, ensuring appropriate review of service user care, and clinical support and guidance to clinicians. Supporting our service to meet key performance objectives is an important part of the role.
Reporting to the Clinical Team Leader there will be opportunities to take part in recruitment and retention activities and involvement in service development projects. You will work closely with the Lead Clinician and Practice Supervisors in the service.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
You will need to be clinically experienced with proven leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively at a senior clinical level with service users, colleagues, mental health service providers, government agencies and the NGO sector. There will be an opportunity to develop your leadership skills through the Te Toka Tumai Auckland Leadership Development Programme.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the relevant mental health clinical environment, with at least 12 months in a senior role
- You must be a NZ registered Mental Health Professional with a current APC.
- A full and clean NZ driver licence is essential in this community-based role.
