We are hiring immediately for a Sales Consultant : Temperature Control - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

Purpose of the Job

The TC Sales Specialist role is a key role in the Aggreko business. You will have a sales plan (account portfolio) where you will manage and deliver growth within your current customers, target and win back your lapsed customers, and prospect target customers (new clients) with a focus on growth coupled with profitability. Top-notch people skills are essential as well as a tenacity to succeed and be professional in all that you do. The role is 40%/60% split between new business prospecting and existing account growth.

The role is responsible for working with the Sales Manager to deliver the TC strategy for the assigned market to achieve the targets set.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for targeting, developing & acquiring customers within your sales plan.
- Is motivated to meet and exceed targets. Revenue targets and sales KPI driven.
- Make sure our non-rental costs are appropriately priced (Fuel, Freight & Rehire)
- Presentation of new products to existing and new customers with focus developing clear value propositions and pricing of Aggreko products and services and customers.
- Submit market analysis reports regarding competitor activity, potential opportunities, and market trends.
- Prepare and submit proposals that include technical and commercial details of the client’s needs in accordance with Aggreko’s terms and conditions, negotiate contracts and secure orders.
- Obtain credit information on prospective customers for hand-over to finance/contract managers.
- Establishes and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Process driven, following Aggreko’s sales process (sector sales excellence), as well as all CRM and CPQ processes (salesforce)
- Complete Minimum sales activity requirements and CRM & CPQ compliance requirements
- Monitors & analyses key account related legislations & potential impacts
- Studies and propose fleet and services developments to answer customer and legislative needs
- Be able to ‘troubleshoot’ at installations on customer sites.

Key performance indicators
- Deliver annual sales target assigned
- Territory and Sector revenue growth
- Margins on recharges (freight, fuel, rehire, services)
- Deliver the target of developing new customers
- Meet the process requirements of Aggreko’s sales process (sector sales excellence), as well as all CRM and CPQ processes (salesforce)

What we’re looking for:

- Has a breadth of experience in driving growth objectives in the Temperature Control (TC) / Heating Ventilation and Airconditioning (HVAC) preferably with 5-6-year work experience in sales and/or business development either from equipment sales and / or rental focused on Solutions Selling
- Local market knowledge and of local regulatory policies (environment, safety rules),
- Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts in New Zealand.
- Commercially astute technical sales professional with significant experience,
- Target driven and results orientated. With a track record of consistently exceeding your sales and activity KPI targets
- Able to deal with complexity, creative thinker
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Driven by success, high commitment
