**Financial Services Manager - Counties Manukau Kindergarten Association**

The above position has become available with Counties Manukau Kindergarten Association. The role will involve working across two not-for-profit organisations based in Takanini and will deliver effective management and oversight of the financial records, systems and processes of the Association.

The position will be 40 hours per week

**Responsibilities**
**This is a significant position with the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility to the CEO. It is expected that the Financial Services Manager maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity, display a positive attitude and a team focus, be enquiring and articulate, and has the ability to lead and deliver ongoing organisational progress.

The Financial Services Manager will demonstrate and actively support a commitment to the organisations’ relationship with mana whenua and the principles Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

**Skills and Experience**

The Financial Services Manager shall have and be able to consistently demonstrate, the attributes and behaviours described below:

Demonstrates a strong understanding and commitment to the goals and objectives of the organisation.

In accordance with the objectives of the organisation, strategically plans for areas of responsibility, effectively communicates goals to direct reports and leads achievement of objectives.

Has tenacity in pursuing goals, showing focus in the face of opposition and ensures personal goals are aligned with the objectives of the organisation.

Makes insightful, timely decisions in difficult, highly complex situations that have a broad impact across the organisation.

Champions the “quality cause”, sets directions, defines standards and values and embeds continuous improvement inside and outside areas of responsibility.

Possess a high degree of skill and experience in the relevant field.
