**Some more about the role**

Working across the business, you'll provide invaluable financial support and planning.

Key objectives of this position include:

- Own and deliver month end results in a timely manner
- Conduct variance analysis and discuss anomalies with the CFO
- Ensure the company’s tax and accounting compliance requirements and deadlines are met in a timely manner including income tax, GST and FBT
- Weekly Cashflow updates and support the CFO in monthly cashflow forecasting
- Consolidation of monthly management accounts for the Group
- Look for continuous improvement opportunities to improve the efficiency of the accounting process and the integrity of the financial data provided.
- Recommend new processes and finance systems when the opportunity arises.
- Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable and instruct the finance assistant(s) on actions as required
- Manage the request and collation of information from respective managers for the board report and compiling the board report for the CFO’s review each month end
- Supporting the CFO in annual and budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Ensure payment runs are prepared (when required), reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
- Preparing payroll
- Provide support to the CFO in delivering the financial objectives of the company
- Assist with the management and training of the finance assistant(s)
- Support the CFO in any other activities or initiatives as required

**There is a full JD available**

**So, who are you?**

You're commercially astute with a good depth of experience working at a senior management level utilising your great people skills. You will be comfortable in a good sized c.$50m SME in a broad role and happy to roll your sleeves up when required.

You will be
**immediately available** and open to starting a role on a contract basis.

This role can be based in one of a few offices, the favoured location is Penrose but open to having someone working from an office on the North Shore.
