**A little bit about the company**

This is a wonderful opportunity in a highly commercial role supporting the sales teams in all areas of analysis and insights to enable decision making in the Sales team.

It’s a highly interactive role in the business and will work closely with the sales functions. As such you will genuinely have a passion and interest for working with none finance stakeholders.

The role is akin to an analytical and incredibly commercially-minded Business Partner role where you will fully immerse yourself in all aspects of sales operations and be a trusted advisor.

**Key areas of the role include**:
Reporting: Providing financial insights and management packs to track performance ensuring accurate margin measurement

Budgeting & Forecasting: A key part of this role liaising with a wide range of people to ensure accurate forecasting

Financial Analysis: Another huge part of the role contributing to driving profitability growth and Key Account margin reviews as well as modeling on pricing options and reviewing customer discounts for effectiveness

S&OP cycle

Ongoing support for the sales teams around commercial data

Assisting with analysis for NPD and product changes

Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations for relevant GL’s

A key part of this role is the ability to review, analyse and interpret large amounts of data with high accuracy in short timeframes. This information prepared is used for critical decision-making, which you will be involved in.

**So what is your profile?**

As this is a highly commercial and interactive role in the business, we are looking for someone who has well-honed interpersonal skills with the ability to collect and relay large volumes of data in the appropriate format for your audience. This involves having a good level of EQ to understand your audience.

It is an analytical role by nature so a relevant tertiary qualification together with the energy and appetite to make an impact is this role. If you have an understanding of FMCG or retail that would be an advantage but is by no means essential. CA/CPA qualified is preferred but again we're open to considering people from a slightly different angle where appropriate.
