The Company

This is a Kiwi success story with global backing who have experienced a period of sustained growth.The role of interim CFO will be instrumental in managing the financial and non-financial performance of the organisation and will play a pivotal influencing role across the wider organisation.

Reporting to the CEO, you will provide strategic and commercial advice and support to the business and work across many facets of the organisation, using your financial acumen and ability to add value.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the finance function
  • Cashflow and risk management
  • Commercial advisory to ensure all business projects are financially evaluated and effectively executed
  • Directing the establishment of financial/accounting principles, policy, procedures and practices in line with legal and corporate requirements
  • Oversight of statutory compliance and corporate governance
  • Building a best in class finance team fit to support the needs of a high growth, dynamic environment
  • Drive and own the FP&A activity across the organisation
  • Involvement with M&A activities

Core Competencies and Experience:

  • 10 years' experience infinancial and commercial leadership roles
  • Demonstrated success navigating a business through a rapid period of change
  • Personal and communication skills to build relationships across the organisation and influence senior management
  • Track record of 'can do', 'roll up sleeves' action and results orientation
  • Experience in a medium/ large business would be an advantage
