**About the role**:
The purpose of the Senior Marketing Specialist is to develop and implement specific marketing strategies that increase the awareness and reputation of our brand, courses and graduates. You will enjoy and have expertise in:
Designing, building and executing marketing strategies
- Using a range of channels including social and digital, broadcast, out-of-home, print, direct marketing and recruitment events that effectively engage with target audiences;
- Collaborating to ensure we have a clear market position, value proposition, key messages and marketing plans around academic programmes;
- Executing sponsorship and event plans that deliver on marketing objectives.
**About you**:
- You have a degree in Marketing, or Business with a specialty in marketing or a related field
- You have utilised your marketing experience in a large organisation operating in a complex market environment or in an advertising or creative agency working for large clients
- You are highly proficient at building and managing complex relationships
- You are technically savvy and analytical and utilise this expertise to manage end-to-end marketing campaigns
- You are a supportive, collaborative team member who has the ability to get messages across using the appropriate method to suit the audience
- You have a strong understanding of, or interest in, āhuatanga Māori.
