We are on the search for a resilient, knowledgeable, and highly accurate Finance Administrator/Accounts Receivable person to join our friendly team based in Mt Wellington. This is a 6-month fixed term contract from April to December. You will report to our Finance Manager and provide essential support to our wider Finance team. A key part of your role will be assisting with implementing a new ERP system within the business. This is a critical role with scope for system and process improvement, and includes duties such as:
- Ensure accurate A/R balances within subsidiary ledger at all times across group companies.
- Monitor, manage, and report on fleet and government AR ledger.
- Update delivery status, due dates, payment allocations, and follow up with fleet and government customers.
- Prepare month-end trade debtors and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare analytical and ratio analysis for A/R management.
- Maintain solid dealer relationships, ensuring timely action from start to finish.
- Maintain the accuracy and management of PPSR records.
- Process and allocate month-end warranty transfer journals.
- Clearing inboxes and responding to queries within agreed timeframes.
- Assist with ensuring company internal controls are monitored and maintained.
- Support the wider finance team in ad hoc tasks.
- Provide support for the ERP project implementation.
- Ensure all relevant process documentation is updated for any process changes implemented.
- Participate in internal control reviews.
**About you**
With 2+ years experience in a similar role, proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel, an understanding of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements, and a passion for numbers, you’ll join us from an organisation of similar scope and size, bringing your experience of working with multiple entities.
