**_The Opportunity;_**

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Officer to join Ritchies located in Christchurch, at our Burnside Depot, this role reports to the** **Finance Services Manager.

The purpose of this position is to provide effective and timely resolution of accounts payable issues and prompt payment of all invoices. This role will be involved in completing AP transaction processing, including maintaining master data, processing invoices, making payments, follow-up and resolution of queries & exceptions, and liaising with business users and vendors as required.

You will be an integral part of the Finance Services team, working alongside six other staff members. Working Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with hours flexible to suit your lifestyle. You will be joining Ritchies at an exciting time in our journey as we look to modernize both our fleet and our systems.

**_ About You;_**

You’re a leader that has experience developing documentation and delivery programs across multiple sites and rolling these out successfully. You have great communication skills, and you’re apt at understanding that people have different learning capabilities and can create a program that encompasses these differences.

You pride yourself on your eye for detail and your time management skills.

You’re a great team player and can communicate with a variety of people and groups in a manner that is concise and easy to understand. You take health and safety seriously and are an advocate for it’s importance.

**_ Your Skills;_**
- Experience in using SAP Business One or Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems
- Self-starter
- Experience in general account gained in a commercial enterprise
- Ideally a tertiary qualification in accounting or similar
- Strong communicator
- Experienced using Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel
- Interest in public transport
- Health and safety savvy
