**Job Description**:
This is a rare opportunity to lead an organisation that truly makes a difference to our community. As our CEO, you will be the driving force behind our organisation's mission. You will collaborate closely with the Board, community partners, and commercial entities to make philanthropic giving accessible and efficient for the people of Waikato. Your role will encompass convening, connecting, and facilitating projects on behalf of the community, driving positive social change. Reporting to the Board, and supported by a capable team, the CEO will oversee the entire groups operations:
- Lead the strategic planning process to guide actions in alignment with our purpose
- Drive growth in Impact Investment and capital projects, collaborating with partners to accelerate goal achievement
- Cultivate relationships with the Board, partners, funders, philanthropists, government agencies and iwi groups
- Develop structured connections between donor giving and Waikato community needs and projects
- Identify, convene, and lead transformational projects ensuring effective project governance and partnerships are established
- Shape the organisation's culture, engagement, and performance

You bring an innovative mindset and a proven track record of delivering and developing projects that create positive social impact. With your exceptional relationship-building skills, you can connect with a diverse range of stakeholders, from donors and partners to community groups and industry experts. Your strategic thinking and ability to facilitate change will be instrumental in driving our mission forward. Personal attributes, experience and skills required:
- Tertiary qualification in a related field.
- Proven background in cultivating partnerships with exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial and programme management reporting skills.
- Ability to innovate and find creative solutions for project delivery.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Success is characterised by the establishment of streamlined project delivery processes and the cultivation of a robust project pipeline. We envision the Endowment Fund reaching a substantial milestone of $80 million by 2027. Ultimately, your goal is to make a tangible contribution towards addressing critical service shortfalls across the region, fostering positive and lasting change for our community.
