Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

The role works alongside, and collaborates with, Project Delivery, Commercial Management, and Civil Construction and Infrastructure teams to seamlessly deliver Risk and Assurance services and advice.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

Tertiary qualification or relevant work experience?
The ability to establish credibility and manage relationships with managers and teams, both internally, across a large organisation, and externally

A working understanding of project risk
Relevant risk management experience around large infrastructure or construction projects, programmes or portfolios
A working understanding of international risk management frameworks and standards (such as ISO31000:2018) and established good practices is preferred
Sound technical risk management skills as a risk management practitioner
Experience functioning as a member of a highly-skilled, high performing and engaged risk management teams in multi-faceted and demanding environments
Experience in working to a risk management strategy
Interest in the New Zealand social housing, residential and property development sectors
The behavioural characteristics and skills required to work in a matrixed environment.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills and advanced written and verbal skills
Interest in public sector structure, governance, processes and systems
Experience navigating and operating in a regulated environment, experience working constructively across functions and track record of building and maintaining the trust of all stakeholders.
