Mount Maunganui, New Zealand HR Connect Full time

Based in the Head Office in Mount Maunganui, this role plays a pivotal role in supporting key Leaders within the business helping shape and execute the people strategy. Reporting to the General Manager of People & Culture, you will lead a team of three driving people and culture initiatives, while providing HR support across both corporate and operational functions.

This role will see you at the heart of the organisation and requiring strategic thinking and a passion for collaborating with leaders to prioritise activities that strengthen business performance and create an engaging and positive work environment.

**Qualifications**:
As a strategically oriented and visionary HR practitioner you thrive on partnering with the business and delivering results through people. Key qualifications and capabilities include:

- An appropriate degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
- Demonstrated leadership capability with strategic thinking skills and the ability to think beyond day-to-day HR responsibilities
- Ability to build impactful working relationships with Leaders, understanding their business drivers and individual needs to add significant business value through HR
- Proven experience in ER and exposure to IR and collective agreements would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and relationship skills
- A visible leader with a proactive and genuine approach, fostering openness and trust at all levels of the organisation
