Join us as an Advisor - Regulatory Services in either Wellington or Christchurch and be part of the biggest reform of the building regulatory system in the last 15 years. Play your part in shaping one of New Zealand's leading sectors, which is set to contribute significantly to New Zealand's economic recovery.

This role is primarily focussed on undertaking the assessment of MultiProof approvals and will be working with Senior Advisers to deliver the work programme to promote MultiProof as well as the CodeMark and BuiltReady schemes. A current consent processing competency of R1 is a requirement for this role and development will be provided to move through the remaining residential competencies.

This is a unique opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience in New Zealand's complex and challenging building sector.

- An eye for detail and technical accuracy
- Current R1 technical competency
- Awareness and growing understanding of the Building Act 2004
- Sound judgement skills with the ability to manage competing demands and identify priorities appropriately
- A collaborative style and strong relationship building skills - including with both internal and external stakeholders
- A strong ability to articulate key messages, both in writing and verbally, to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently in a virtual team working across several locations
