Te Papa Atawhai, Department of Conservation (DOC) serves to protect and sustain nature across Aotearoa. We put nature and people at the heart of our mahi, guided by te reo Māori, te ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We do this by:

- protecting land, species, ecosystems, and cultural heritage for conservation purposes
- managing threats and adverse impacts

We have an immediate, fixed term opportunity available for an experienced Recruiter to join us in Wellington. You'll join our busy internal recruitment team based across the country - Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Invercargill. Starting in May through to end of 2023 this Advisor will provide relief support in our core recruitment delivery while team members deliver our seasonal recruitment uplift.

- A passion for Te Papa Atawhai's Kaupapa is essential as well as understanding of Māori Tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The salary range for this position is $73,336 to $93,708 and will be based on relevant skills and experience.

Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory - this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment
