Cybercrime is the most rapidly growing crime type globally, causing significant harm to individuals and organisations across the country. New Zealand Police are the lead agency in investigating cybercrime and need qualified people to join an expanding team.
We are looking for a high performing dynamic person to work in a team who conducts day-to-day investigations and provides specialist expertise in the area of Digital Forensics.
Technical Specialist
This role is for someone who is currently working towards or is qualified in Certified Forensic Computer Examiner, GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner / Certified Forensic Analyst

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Be self-motivated and ready to learn, have excellent organisational, research, and communication skills
- Pay attention to detail and have the flexibility to cope with change
- Be capable of making sound decisions under pressure
- Work well and communicate positively in a team environment Special Requirements:

- Clean and current (full) Driver’s license
- IT qualification or work experience within an IT related field
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence from $102,754 as a Specialist dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
