We are looking for two night shift telephone
operators for our busy call centre at Nelson Hospital.
This is a diverse
role with plenty of variety and would appeal to people who enjoy a challenge and job satisfaction. Key duties include answering the phone, after-hours reception duties, interacting
with the public and dealing with emergency situations.
Position 1
- Working 24 hours a week (0.6FTE).
- Shift: 11.00PM to 7.00AM, every Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.Position 2
- Working 16 hours a week (0.4FTE).
- Shift: 11.00PM to 7.00AM every Friday & Saturday.

Ideally you will have the flexibility to work additional shifts, from time-to-time, covering staff leave and illness.

To succeed in this role you will have a bright, friendly and outgoing
personality with great interpersonal skills and a strong customer service
focus. You will be highly organised and efficient with the ability to multitask
and remain clam under pressure.
We expect intermediate
computer skills, ideally with PC based switchboard experience. However, we will
aptitude for this type of work can be demonstrated, as full training will be
given.
