**Key purpose**

The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and monitoring ongoing performance, dealing with selective soldering and surface mount manufacturing.

This role will be on our afternoon shift 3pm to 12am.

**The Fit**

We’re looking for an experienced Process Engineer with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and systems. You’ll be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while also having the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other teams. To be successful in this role, you’ll also need:

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
- Proven experience in process engineering within the manufacturing industry, preferably in a regulated environment.
- N.Z.Q.A or Diploma in electronics (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial a bonus or related field).
- Proficiency in process optimization methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools (desirable).
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
