**Job Description**:
Our Commercial Services team are dedicated business technology experts, who manage the complex day-to-day requirements of IT for kiwi businesses. We are now on the hunt for our next Commercial Services Senior Systems Engineer (Services Fulfilment Chapter Member).
In this role, you will be a member of our core commercial engineering team. This is a customer facing lT services and support role providing our commercial customers with world class experiences by facilitating IT Services across several business portfolios including Setup & Installation, remote and onsite troubleshooting, learning & facilitation, connectivity, and subscription services at varied levels across commercial businesses.
**Duties will include**:
- Managing and resolving level 3 requirements within SLA timeframes
- Design, implementation, and managing Microsoft Core Technologies, including Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SQL Server and Group Policy
- Managing IT systems including workstations, servers, security and network, proactively monitoring systems, and implementing solutions as required
- End-to-end onboarding of solutions, guiding customers from initial design to seamless implementation, and actively support customer roadmaps
- Administering Microsoft 365 online services includes Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive, Teams and implementing Security features
- Administering Azure cloud services includes Resource Deployment and Management, Identity and Access Management, Networking, Security, Data and Storage Management
- Working on device setups & installation via Imaging and provisioning tools
- Providing investigation, diagnostics, repair/resolution of hardware, software, and infrastructure
- Providing technical documentation and training support for customers and your team
- Keeping documentation up to do date with any changes
- Managing software deployments, upgrades & storage, and implementation for on premise & cloud-based infrastructure
- Provide consultancy services and manage IT systems, project, and vendor relationships with a strategic lens to ensure resolution of client requests, incidents, and projects
**Qualifications**:
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be well versed in design, supporting, and enabling solutions at an enterprise level and preferably in managed services environments with a strong focus on IT systems, security, and networks. Our Agile structure and ways of working will see you extensively work cross functionally hence your collaboration skills will be top notch, coupled with the customer centric lens and approach you bring to work every day. You will have an owner’s mindset and be comfortable and confident to test, learn and run with your ideas and have a desire to develop them together with others.
**Also on our wish list**:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years plus experience in the IT industry working in a customer IT support role
- Certifications in Microsoft, Apple and/or networking/WIFI and IT security technologies and/or equivalent experience
- AWS cloud platform experience and understanding of the end-to-end IT solutions and the impact to the customer experience
- Experience and knowledge of VMware/virtualisation, backup solutions, and network storage
- Cisco network switching and Fortinet firewall setup, configuration, and management
- Knowledge of Cyber Security solutions and practices
- Experience working with multiple customers preferably at an IT service provider
- Proactive troubleshooting skills
