**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
We are seeking qualified applicants for a Temporary, part-time Psychologist position based within the Child Development Service. Consideration will be given to a registered psychologist who has a wide range of paediatric experience particularly with pēpī and preschool children with or at risk of developmental delays, or disabilities, and their families/whanau. The role is suited to someone with a strong interest in equity and cultural responsiveness.
**Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team**
CDS is a multi-disciplinary team providing specialist developmental assessments and interventions for children who have, or are at risk of, an intellectual, sensory or physical disability and children with an autism spectrum disorder. We use a holistic approach to enable children with disabilities to reach their maximum potential within their families and extended environment.
**Moū - About you**
You will be skilled in in recognising the mana of those you work with, and in the assessment and diagnoses of developmental disablities and delays. You will have an indepth knowledge of typical child development and the many factors that can impact on this.
You will demonstrate advanced understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, its relationship to health, and the ways in which psychologists can contribute to equitable outcomes for Māori pēpī, tamariki, rangitahi, and their whānau.
