The Corporate Portfolio supports MSD's vision by delivering corporate platform systems, processes, people capability and information that support our organisation and staff to meet the needs of our clients and whānau. This ensures we fulfil our accountabilities to government and other stakeholders. These systems and processes underpin the services we provide to clients and are vital to ensure we can continue to operate effectively in a more complex future.
We are a new portfolio that is driven to deliver real value to our MSD staff. We value innovation and ‘out of the box' thinking. We are a small team, and deliver by challenging the status quo, relentlessly hunting down value / savings opportunities, whilst always holding our staff at the centre of everything we do. The Corporate Portfolio (CP) aims to make it easy to do work at MSD by focusing on our MSD people and their experience when engaging with their work. CP provides a unified and controlled delivery structure for all change initiatives originating from the Corporate, Workforce and Workplace portfolios. That means anything that requires additional budget and/or resources above and beyond the BAU team, will be managed through CP.
Portfolio Coordinator

The Portfolio Coordinator works closely with the Project Managers, project teams and other support functions across the Ministry (MSD). This position assists the Portfolio and Project Managers in providing best practice advice, guidance and support to the teams, and is responsible for:

- Providing secretariat and governance support to the Portfolio and project governance groups
- Supporting project planning and scheduling activity in an agile environment
- Keeping Portfolio and Project Controls (Risks, Issues, Scope Change Mgmt, etc.) up to date
- Supporting accurate and timely Portfolio and project financial reporting
- Supporting Portfolio and project communications including reporting
- Assisting with the creation and maintenance of quality project documentation and adherence to process

Position Description
**Salary range**: $68,660.00 - $83,003.00
